It's already May!!! Time flies when you're in lockdown and all days feel the same...

But, measures are slowly being lifted... Some countries that banned group riding are now allowing it again (with limits). Seems like a good time to give you an update on the "are we riding more or less during the pandemic"- article, where I've analysed riding behaviour over the past weekends including some interesting and unexpected differences between countries.

Additionally, in this issue of Moto Intel Report, Jasper explains why Harley Davidson is overrated and finds some interesting Royal Enfield unloading techniques. Tom looks at good quality summer jackets and Kawasaki's materializing electric ambitions, while I take a look at the beautifull, recently unveiled, Indian 1200 FTR Carbon and an astonishing new motorcycle with 7 times as much torque as a 1250 GS.

So now, without further ado, let’s get rolling...

We’ve heard surprisingly little about Team Green's new project until two weeks ago when the Japanese brand finally released some interesting features, including the name of the new model: The Kawasaki EV Endeavor.  Read more...
It goes without saying that motorcycles are among the more dangerous vehicles. In Asia they have a different approach to safety as can be seen here. Viewer discretion advised. Watch video...
The numbers don’t lie. Last weekend we rode 5x more compared to early March. Why? And which countries lead the charge? Read more...
This is one beautiful machine if you ask me. With its carbon front fender, headlight cowl, passenger seat cowl and fuel tank airbox cover, it not only looks awesome...it also loses some pounds. Read more...
Harley riders might disagree, but Harley Davidson is terribly overrated.  Read more...
With summer approaching, we’ll have a look at jackets that do not just offer protection, but also offer optimal airflow. Read more...
I’m also positively surprised by the specs. Amongst others, 7 times as much torque as a 1250 GS. If these all turn out to be true in real life, I believe Verge might have a winner on its hands with the TS.

The Great Empty - Part 2

I asked you to share some pics of the empty world if you got the chance. Here is part 2 of some of the pics that you sent in. On the left is a picture sent in by Raoul. It's taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands and pictures his Moto Guzzi California EV in front of a famous piece of art referring to the dutch 'Delfts Blue' pottery style. On the top right we have Oleg's picture. It's from April 25, taken in the mountains of New York. This area is called Bear Mountain and this is just one of the lakes with such an amazing scenery. Finally on the bottom right we have Tobias' beautifull BMW R9T scrambler. The pictures was taken just up the coastal road A1A in Delray Beach Florida, where, after April 1st all beaches were closed. Tobias is one of the lucky ones that was allowed to go out as his profression is considered "essential".

What's your most beautiful / funny / crazy motorcycle pic? Share it with us and it might be featured in the next Moto Intel Report. As many send pictures to us, we can't feature them all, so we dedicated a page on the Scenic Blog with all crazy / funny / beautiful Motorcycle Pics!
