I don't know about you, but I could use a little ‘me’ time on the bike. Cruising along letting thoughts pass by, or some aggressive riding in the curves to clear my mind. Until then...here's some reading to keep you sane!

I don't know about you, but I could use a little ‘me’ time on the bike. Cruising along letting thoughts pass by, or some aggressive riding in the curves to clear my mind. Having three young kids at home ALL THE TIME is slowly getting to me :) I had to shift my working hours to when they are asleep as it's nearly impossible to find undisturbed working time when these little monstors are awake.

It's funny how lockdown is so different for people with kids compared to people without kids. I was talking to a friend the other day... a bit younger than me... no children. He asked what activity I picked up during lock down... if I was learning a new programming language... or was reading more books... or something like that? After my first bafflement of how he could even ask this question, I just started laughing, almost histerically :). The little time I had for these things before Covid, has now fallen to negative values I'm sure. On the other hand, my friend without kids, is now learning how to play the Ukulele :)

But there is light at the end of the tunnel. While some countries are still tightening lockdown procedures, other countries are starting to loosen them. Fingers crossed that soon we'll all be out riding again!

In this issue of Moto Intel Report Tom and I find some good coming out of the Corona Pandemic, I do deep research on how to deep clean your motorcycle, Jasper checks out old bikes that are still on the road today and gives tips on choosing a new one. Additionally, Tom has positive news around the Norton Motorcycles drama and I updated the "Are we riding more or less during COVID-19" article, where I analyse the (quite surprising) differences in riding behaviour between countries.

So now, without further ado, let’s get rolling...

COVID Coffee Break

This picture was sent in by Tjeerd from the Netherlands. With a maximum of three guys they do some riding nowadays. In this picture Tjeerd and his buddies are having a COVID-approved coffee break, in the middle of nowhere, keeping minimum distance of 1.5 meters between them.
